About this place
At Saizeriya, it is easy to put together a lighter meal or choose something more substantial. One diner who enjoyed Milan-style doria with corn soup and garlic focaccia for dinner singled out the doria’s combination of meat sauce and cheese, as well as the focaccia’s soft texture and toasted aroma. The corn soup is made with sweetcorn and milk; together with the doria, it makes for a warm, comforting meal.
For a richer take, try Milan-style doria with a soft-cooked egg, or baked cheese Milan-style doria, topped with cheese for a toasted flavour. To add a light bite or small plate, choose focaccia, described as pleasantly chewy and simply flavoured, or tarako focaccia, which pairs tarako with cheese.
For a heartier option, there is lamb rump steak. A weekday diner said it was more substantial than grilled lamb skewers and left them full when paired with rice. The menu describes the lamb as tender, lean meat with a moderate amount of fat, served with original spices.
There are desserts to finish with, too: Italian pudding, combining the rich taste of milk and egg with the toasted flavour of caramel, or Tiramisù Classico, made with mascarpone and biscuits. The drinks bar, available alongside meals and desserts, offers soft drinks as well as coffee and tea. Saizeriya is presented as suitable for dining alone, with a group or with family, and its menu makes it easy to build a meal around whatever you feel like that day.
